The history of MTSC, the Madras Theological
Seminary & College could
be traced back to the passion of two great missionaries
Charles E.Cowman and Rev.
E.A. Kilbourne, the founding Fathers of “OMS
International” These two men were the products
of the Holiness Movement
of the 19th century in America. Their Zeal for the
Mission and Evangelism made them take a several month
sea voyage and arrive
on the shores of the Orient. After establishing the
OMS work in Japan and
South Korea they came to India and started the
first Bible Seminary in Allahabad, North India. In 1953
the OMS started a Bible
Seminary in Madras which grew into the present Madras
Theological Seminary & College. |
